Salary: £35, per annum, this includes shift premium. (subject to consultation, this rate may increase by 3% from October 2025)
Working Hours: 42 hours per week ( 4 on, 4 off) working 12 hour shifts which includes working weekends, bank holidays and nightshifts.

What you’ll be doing:
As a PMO Process/Packing Machine Operator (PMO) at PepsiCo, you keep the line running and performance strong. You operate the equipment in your area, follow operational processes, and work closely with your shift team. Any issues or defects you find should be rectified or escalated to the corresponding team member to support.

Responsibilities
What we expect from you as a PMO, and is not limited to:
14. Adhere to standards to achieve line performance: safety, operating and maintaining equipment and line quality checks
15. Proactively work to improve safety, for example raising and helping to resolve near misses
16. Owns the execution of basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, inspection and lubrication, as part of an autonomous maintenance system
17. Can identify and log Issues/defects on their equipment using the appropriate systems
18. Own change over on their equipment autonomously
19. Adhere to escalation process for any unresolved issues during their shift
20. Handover information to next shift
21. Share knowledge, coach and support colleagues
22. Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by proactively participating in everyday problem solving
Qualifications
23. Practical, hands-on operational production experience
24. Experience in cleaning, checking equipment for defects and basic part replacement
25. Be great at spotting and solving problems with production or equipment.
26. Take ownership of your work and aren’t afraid to dive into tough challenges
27. Follow processes and safety standards closely, with a strong focus on keeping things safe and running right
28. Ability to contribute to a positive team culture to achieve shared goals
29. Be genuinely curious about finding better ways to keep equipment running smoothly.
30. Communicate clearly—whether you’re writing things down or talking things through.
31. Enjoy sharing what you know and helping others grow, while continuing to learn yourself.
