Job Title: Pub Chef Location: Northamptonshire Salary: £21 per hour (including holiday pay) Job Type: Full-time Hours: Monday to Friday Shift Pattern: Split Shift 11:30am to 3:00pm / 5:00pm to 11:00pm About the Role We are looking for an experienced and reliable Pub Chef to join our friendly team in a busy, well-established pub. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in preparing delicious, traditional pub food. You will be responsible for managing the kitchen during your shifts, preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring smooth service during both lunch and dinner periods. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a range of classic pub dishes to order Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene Manage kitchen prep before service and clean-down after Work efficiently during busy lunch and evening service Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations Assist in menu planning, stock control, and supplier orders if required Requirements Proven experience as a Chef in a pub or similar kitchen environment Confidence in running a kitchen independently during service Good communication and time management skills Up-to-date Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certification (preferred) Ability to work the specified Monday to Friday split shift pattern Benefits £21 per hour (including holiday pay) Supportive working environment Opportunity to contribute to menu development
