Service: 3 bedded SEMH children’s home - Part of Hexagon Care Services
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £45,250 - £52,250 Depending on experience
Annual Bonus: On target earnings of £3500 bonus per annum
Ofsted Outstanding bonus: £1,000
Annual Leave: 28 days plus bank holidays (Equivalent to <7 weeks per year)

About Hawthorn Children’s Home
Hawthorn is an Ofsted rated GOOD children’s home in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire. It supports up to 3 young people with SEMH, on a medium to long term basis. The home was last inspected in July 2025 and received a good in all areas. The previous manager still works for Hexagon Care and relocated to another service in the company and the RI has been at Hexagon for several years. The home is easily accessible from the M65 and surrounding motorway links.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Children’s Home Manager who understands the challenges that this role brings but also understands the rewards. Our Registered Managers are commercial and compassionate leaders, able to motivate and develop their staff team to ensure that the young people we care for have the best care experience possible. You will have the vision and leadership to take this home forward with the backing and support from your service manager, in addition to a supportive head-office team covering referrals, finance, HR, maintenance, IT and recruitment which is all done in-house.
