Overview
Clinical Service Delivery Manager role at IPRS Aeromed – Gatwick-based. This position works with the senior management team to ensure that all clinical elements of contracted services are met and that in-house and contracted clinicians deliver high-quality clinical services at all times.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and ensure services comply with local, national, and international initiatives and regulations (e.g., CQC, JRCALC, NICE).
* Provide clinical leadership and management of the in-house clinical team and contracted clinicians; recruit, support, develop and train direct reports.
* Develop and maintain relationships with client stakeholders; represent IPRS Aeromed at client meetings with a professional, fact-based approach.
* Oversee site visits and clinical supervision to ensure delivery to the highest standard.
* Evaluate service delivery and identify improvements to patient experience, clinical quality, governance, compliance, operational practices, communications, data flows and management information.
* Ensure services comply with policies including GDPR/Caldicott, Information Security, Safeguarding and Prevent; act as IP&C Lead.
* Participate in the Clinical Governance Committee to ensure a robust clinical governance framework.
Requirements
* Degree-qualified Paramedic registered with HCPC or Nurse (NMC); membership of the College of Paramedics and HCPC (or NMC).
* Evidence of continuing professional development; formal Management or Leadership qualification.
* Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience as a paramedic or nurse.
* Experience leading, managing, supporting, and motivating teams.
* Primary and acute secondary care experience.
* Good IT skills and excellent communication abilities.
* Full driving license and own transport; language skills (desirable).
* Clinical leadership/management qualification (desirable).
Skills and abilities
* Logical decision-making and a hands-on approach to operational management in a clinical environment.
* Ability to represent the company at all levels and conduct formal service reviews.
* Ability to review and evaluate service outcomes, feedback and legislative changes and implement improvements.
* Ability to formulate and roll out guidelines and oversee their deployment.
* Strong time-management to ensure service level agreements are met in a demanding environment.

* 40 hours per week with one week in four covering out-of-hours on-call
