The Opportunity
Join our Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) team and play a pivotal role in driving global transformation across the RS Group. As a Project Manager, you’ll lead high‑impact Order to Cash (O2C) harmonisation and optimisation initiatives that shape how our business operates worldwide.
You’ll guide cross‑functional teams, influence global stakeholders, and ensure we deliver scalable, standardised, and sustainable solutions that elevate operational excellence across markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a delivery‑focused, collaborative Project Manager who thrives in complex, international environments.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Leading end‑to‑end delivery of global O2C harmonisation, optimisation, and stabilisation projects
2. Embedding new ways of working, resolving root‑cause issues, and ensuring operational readiness for scale
3. Defining project scope, success measures, and realistic delivery plans alongside global process owners and market teams
4. Managing cross‑functional project teams (8–15 contributors) including Solution Architects, BAs, SMEs, Developers, and Change specialists
5. Facilitating workshops, design sessions and problem‑solving forums to accelerate decision‑making
6. Identifying risks, dependencies and constraints, and proactively driving mitigation
7. Ensuring accurate governance, documentation, and reporting aligned with RS standards
8. Supporting adoption of new processes and tools through structured change management and stakeholder engagement
9. Monitoring benefits realisation to ensure improvements are embedded post go‑live
10. Building strong relationships across GSBS, markets, and technology teams to drive alignment and operational excellence
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
11. Proven experience delivering business change through structured project management across multiple initiatives
12. End-to-end project management experience from within a complex matrix organisation
13. Experience with methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid
14. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across global regions
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging all levels of the business
16. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships across cultures and functions
17. Effective team facilitation skills with the ability to motivate contributors of varying levels
18. Solid understanding of shared service operating models, service transition and process standardisation
19. Experience managing process migrations across multiple geographies
20. Ability to stay calm under pressure and navigate complex issues effectively
21. Natural curiosity and a drive to learn and adopt best practice
22. Experience working within a software delivery or technology‑enabled transformation environment
23. Strong planning, organisation, coaching, and constructive challenge skills
24. Fluent written and spoken English
Desirable:
25. Experience in complex, international project environments
26. MSP Practitioner certification
27. Experience negotiating with and managing third‑party partners
28. Additional language skills
Qualifications:
29. Certified Project Management qualification (APM, Prince2, MSP, Agile – essential)
30. Change Management certification (e.g., PROSCI – desirable)
