An established offshore energy services company with a strong track record in subsea operations is seeking a Contracts Manager to take ownership of contractual activity across the business. The role is responsible for negotiation, legal and commercial advice, and governance, ensuring that contracts and subcontracts are managed effectively from tender stage through to project delivery. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll play a central part in safeguarding compliance and driving robust contractual standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing reviews, qualifications and negotiations of contracts including frame agreements, charter parties and LOIs.
* Providing clear and practical advice and clarification on legal and contractual language.
* Monitoring regulatory changes and review and update proposal terms and the contractual templates library accordingly.
* Maintaining contract registers and manage NDA requirements, ensuring obligations are understood and applied.
* Conducting contract and subcontract reviews during tendering, ensuring compliance with contracting standards.
* Liaising with central functions on tax, insurance, guarantees, warranties and performance bonds.
* Preparing contract summaries, approvals and project handovers following awards.
* Supporting Project Teams with variations, disputes and post-award obligations.
* Strengthening subcontracting practices by developing supplier relationships and managing administrative requirements, including call-offs.
* Ensuring post-award deliverables such as guarantees and bonds are implemented.
About You:
* Experienced in contract management and negotiation.
* Strong knowledge of governance, risk management and compliance.
* Skilled in drafting and managing a wide range of contractual documents.
* Able to work effectively with internal teams and subcontractors.
* Preferably experienced in the oil and gas or energy sector.
* Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
