Job Title: Electronics Design & Obsolescence Engineer
Salary: Up to £51,000 dependent on skills and experience

What youll be doing:
1. Analyse legacy solutions, identify obsolescence drivers, and define requirements for bespoke replacement concepts
2. Working with supply chain, lead the engineering engagement with suppliers to develop new or re-establish the capability to deliver electronic/electrical systems, considering all stages of the engineering lifecycle
3. Collaborate with wider engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure solutions remain consistent with the product core design and production principles
4. Contribute to peer reviews, preliminary design reviews (PDR), and critical design reviews (CDR) to ensure all designs comply with safety legislation and key customer requirements
5. Support internal and supplier verification activities through analysis, inspection, and test, including support to EMC testing, environmental qualification, and product installation activities
