As a Night Operations Controller, you will manage, monitor, and optimise transport activities during night hours to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective deliveries. You will liaise closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient loading and dispatch of trailers. The role involves regular written communication, including emails, operational reports, and end-of-shift handovers to customers and colleagues. Shift Pattern: Friday Monday, 20:00 08:00 Key Responsibilities Proactively follow up with drivers to ensure delivery and collection times are met. Respond to telephone and email queries from customers, drivers, service suppliers, and colleagues. Prepare and distribute detailed reports confirming pick-up, collection, and delivery performance. Accurately enter and update planning details within the companys operating system (Stratum). Issue job details and instructions to drivers in a timely manner. Monitor and verify trailer temperature set-points using all available tracking technology. Always represent the Company in a professional and positive manner. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of yourself and others while carrying out all duties. Complete any other reasonable duties as requested by Management, Supervisors, or Team Leaders. Qualifications & Experience Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS), ideally Stratum or similar platforms.
