About the Role
My client is looking for an experienced Freelance AV Technician to provide onsite support across their Manchester offices. This is a hands-on technical role delivering high-quality meeting room support, preventative maintenance and break/fix services.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide onsite AV/IT support across meeting rooms and collaboration spaces
* Deliver meeting room setup, live event assistance, and technical troubleshooting
* Carry out preventative maintenance on AV systems to ensure optimal performance
* Respond to and resolve break/fix issues efficiently and professionally
* Liaise with internal teams and external vendors when required
* Maintain accurate logs, reports and equipment documentation
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong background in AV systems, including videoconferencing (Teams, Zoom), displays, DSPs, microphones, control systems etc.
* Confident supporting users in fast-paced corporate environments
* Solid fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
* Professional, proactive, and customer-focused approach
* Ability to work independently on a freelance basis
