Role: Wills & Probate Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive
Location: York (Hybrid - 2 days from home)
Salary: £50,000 - £72,000 + Bonus + Benefits

The Opportunity
This role would suit an experienced Wills & Probate Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who is confident managing a full private client caseload independently. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team with a strong reputation, offering genuine flexibility and long‑term career progression.
What you'll be doing
* Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion
* Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning
* Handling probate and estate administration matters
* Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Advising on trusts and inheritance tax planning
* Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service
What they're looking for
* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX)
* Proven experience handling non‑contentious private client matters
* Ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
* Strong client care and communication skills
* A proactive and professional approach
