Be among the first 25 applicants. At SuperCare's first EBD/SEMH home, the young people are vulnerable, complex, and in need of structure. They may be at risk of going missing, self-harm, and require encouragement with daily routines like eating, hygiene, and joining activities. As Day Team Leader, you will guide the team through these challenges, keeping everyone consistent, calm, and focused on safety.
Responsibilities
* Lead day shifts and ensure consistent safeguarding practice.
* Support young people with risks around self-harm, missing-from-home, and exploitation.
* Encourage positive routines and participation in activities.
* Supervise, mentor, and support Day Coaches and Seniors.
* Step in during incidents, modelling professionalism and safe practice.
* Maintain records and liaise with managers.
* Drive to activities and appointments (full UK driving licence required).
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong experience with self-harm, trauma, or exploitation risks.
* Skilled in safeguarding, missing protocols, and mental health first aid.
* Confident leading teams through complex situations.
* Resilient when hearing unsettling or difficult disclosures.
* Physically fit, reliable, and proactive.
* Must hold a full UK driving licence.
