Our public sector client is seeking two experienced HR Advisors to join their People & OD team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact by providing expert HR support and driving positive organisational change.
Overview
To deliver a comprehensive HR advisory service, providing professional support, guidance, and expertise on all HR matters, in line with employment legislation, organisational policies, and best practice.
Responsibilities
* Advise and support managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and conditions of service (local and national)
* Provide case management support, including investigations, hearings, and complex employee relations matters
* Partner with managers to address absence, conduct, performance, and grievance cases
* Contribute to organisational development, resourcing, talent management, and employee experience initiatives
* Ensure compliance with employment law, codes of practice, and internal policies
* Promote best practice, positive employee relations, and organisational effectiveness
Qualifications
* CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) and Chartered CIPD Membership
* Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Proven generalist HR experience supporting managers on complex cases
* Background across multiple HR functions (OD, employee relations, resourcing, talent management)
* Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office
* Excellent communication, consultancy, and relationship-building skills
* Strong problem-solving ability and resilience when handling conflict/sensitive matters
* High standards of integrity, professionalism, and adaptability
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle, with flexibility to travel across sites
