We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using both hand and power tools to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles, contributing to their overall satisfaction and trust in our services.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations.
* Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately.
* Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools as required.
* Maintain detailed records of all work performed on vehicles for compliance and customer reference.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive work.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues alike.
* A valid driving licence is essential
