We are working with a well-established and growing business that is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the full finance function. This is a standalone role, reporting directly to the Managing Director, offering real autonomy and visibility within the business. The company is a successful, owner-managed organisation with a turnover of circa £10m, based in Skelmersdale. You'll be working in a friendly, supportive environment and collaborating closely with other teams across the business. Key Responsibilities: Daily bank reconciliations Processing purchase invoices Preparation and submission of VAT returns Production of monthly management accounts Credit card reconciliations Supplier statement reconciliations Processing and management of staff expenses Managing supplier payments via BACS and direct payments Benefits: Flexible working hours (37.5 hours per week) 25 days holiday Pension scheme Free on-site parking This role would suit a hands-on finance professional who enjoys taking ownership of the accounts function within a growing business.
