Position summary
Seeking a dynamic Technical Director to lead scientific innovation at our UK site in Sandwich (remote possible), reporting to the CTO in the US. The role involves shaping research, development, and manufacturing strategies within a growing global organization.
What you’ll do
* Provide scientific leadership and mentorship across China, UK, and US teams.
* Review and approve technical proposals.
* Ensure effective project communication and alignment on costs, timelines, and data.
* Support commercial teams with technical expertise.
* Contribute to the growth of R&D and manufacturing capabilities in small molecules, peptides, and other modalities.

Qualifications, skills, and experience
* PhD in chemistry or related field with extensive chemical development experience, or equivalent degree with significant industry experience.

* Experience leading collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams across time zones.
* Proactive planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams.
* Knowledge of cGMP compliance and ICH guidelines (desirable).
* Experience with process validation (desirable).
