<div><h3>Associate Clinical Research Practitioner</h3><p>The Interventional Oncology Research Team is recruiting! This is a full‑time post on a 12‑month fixed term contract, with potential for extension based on research funding. The position is based at St James’s Hospital. The post holder will contribute actively to the conduct, coordination, and delivery of the Interventional Oncology Research Portfolio, and will be responsible for ensuring high standards of clinical care planning, delivery, safety, and patient satisfaction, in compliance with Trust policy, study protocol requirements, local and national guidance, and legislation.</p><h3>Contact</h3><p>Name: Jacqueline Brandon<br/>Position: Senior Research Nurse<br/>Email: j.brandon@nhs.net</p><h3>Reason to join our team</h3><p>This is an exciting opportunity for an associate CRP to join the Interventional Oncology (IO) research team. We are a highly innovative, progressive and collaborative team that works closely with clinical colleagues to deliver excellence in IO research. The role involves helping to deliver a range of cutting‑edge trials and contributing to the advancement of IO as the fourth pillar of cancer care through minimally invasive, evidence-based innovation.</p><h3>What you will bring to the role</h3><p>We are looking for a proactive and self‑motivated individual with a keen interest in high‑quality clinical research delivery, strong clinical skills, and a desire to work directly with patients and trial participants. Previous experience in radiology research is desirable. The post holder will work alongside a multidisciplinary team and industry partners, attend MDT meetings, and have the opportunity to present research at key specialty conferences and meetings.</p><h3>Person Specification</h3><p>Experience and qualifications are as follows:</p><ul><li>Strong clinical skills and experience in a clinical setting.</li><li>Experience or training in clinical research is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Excellent communication and organisational skills.</li></ul><h3>Disclosure and Barring Service Check</h3><p>This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.</p><h3>Sponsorship Eligibility</h3><p>Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust is unable to provide sponsorship to applicants who do not meet the eligibility criteria or salary threshold concessions set out under the Skilled Worker visa route.</p><h3>Equal Opportunities</h3><p>We reserve the right to close this advert early if we receive a high number of suitable applications.</p></div>
