Type of Position: Senior Financial Administrator - London

Pay: £30k - £40k

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Administrator to join their team in London.


Key Accountabilities:


PA and General Admin Duties

* Organise and diarise meetings for Private Client Advisors
* Prioritise tasks with Private Client Advisors
* Handle calls and email queries, acting on non-technical inquiries
* Prepare agendas and information requests for client meetings as needed
* Assist in producing management information for central teams
* Perform general administrative tasks such as scanning and filing


Client Servicing and Meeting Preparation

* Use systems to submit new business to providers
* Prepare meeting packs for client meetings and reviews
* Prepare application forms and documents for client approval
* Liaise with providers to ensure applications are received and complete outstanding requirements
* Generate client portfolio valuations and statements using Intelligent Office
* Assist with trades and portfolio rebalancing
* Manage cash on client accounts (bonds, SIPPs, etc.)
* Close plans on Intelligent Office and settle income expectations


Correspondence and Client Files

* Manage follow-up tasks for meetings and submissions using iO
* Maintain accurate client information on internal systems
* Ensure client agreements and fee schedules are signed and stored
* Run risk tolerances and AML checks
* Organise and update electronic client files for easy access


Compliance

* Assist in FCA and internal compliance procedures
* Report suspicions of complaints and follow procedures
* Follow AML and GDPR requirements
* Record risk profiles and save to DMS
* File relevant correspondence


Experience and Qualifications:

* 5+ years in an IFA administration role
* Knowledge of pensions, investments, ISAs, bonds, trusts, and protection
* Experience delivering high-level client service
* Proficiency with Transact, iO, or similar systems
* Strong IT skills, especially Excel
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Understanding of FCA rules and compliance
* Relevant qualifications are a plus but not essential
