Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Customer Service Executive include:
* Customer relationship management
* Processing orders
* Offering alternative products for out-of-stock items
* Promoting new products
* Maximising order book fulfilment by liaising with Supply Chain and Warehouse
* Providing technical information on products confidently over the telephone
* Delighting customers and going the "extra mile"
* Understanding detailed customer requirements
* Empathising with customer problems
* Thinking creatively to offer solutions
* Communicating effectively, both written and verbally
* Handling complaints professionally and resolving issues amicably
* Developing good relationships with internal departments
* Suggesting process and procedure improvements
* Being computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Performing ad-hoc administrative tasks
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Customer Service Executive will:
* Have previous customer service experience (desirable but not essential)
* Have a friendly and pleasant demeanor
* Work accurately with attention to detail
* Be able to learn and work independently from training
* Be a team player
* Have an enthusiastic, confident approach and telephone manner
