The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of severe learning difficulties, including complex and profound needs, across the ages of 2 to 19. The role will involve supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom, assisting with the delivery of personalised learning activities, promoting positive behaviour, and helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities will also include working closely with teachers and other professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs), supporting communication and social development, assisting with personal care where required (training provided), and encouraging pupils to develop life skills and independence.
