Future Opening: Member Services Representative Full time
Job Summary
The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
* Handle all front desk activities including:
o Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
o Check members into the system.
o Sign up new members.
o Take prospective members on tours.
* Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
* Respond to member questions and concerns professionally and promptly, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the club.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Customer service experience preferred.
* Basic computer skills.
* A passion for fitness and health.
* Positive and upbeat attitude!
* Punctuality and reliability are essential.
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and staff, exceeding expectations.
* Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
* Diplomacy and appropriate behavior in all interactions.
* Must be 18 years or older.
Physical Demands
* Standing and walking throughout the shift.
* Talking in person or on the phone regularly.
* Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
* May encounter toxic chemicals occasionally.
