General Workshop Assistant (Permanent - Full Time)
Mechatronic Engineering Resources Ltd., (MERL)
are seeking two additional workshop assistants to join our young, friendly and agile team at Gatwick. These are starter positions that will provide successful candidates with an excellent foundation on which to build a future engineering career.
We offer sponsored, UK recognised brazing and F-gas training to all promising trainees after twelve months service and City & Guilds NVQ level 3 training for our more experienced people as part their career development programme after two years.
Successful candidates will be required to disassemble, clean, fully rebuild and test electro mechanical assemblies.
Full training will be given.
Candidates must be: Willing to learn, honest, reliable, trustworthy, take pride in their work and be self-motivated and have good attention to detail. The work will involve: Manual dexterity, good communication skills and a common-sense approach.

Have been living and working in England or Wales, for the last, five consecutive years
Have UK 'Right to work' on a full-time basis in England and Wales
and have a good understanding of English both written and verbal. You should also be resident in the Crawley area and be willing to travel to your workplace at your own expense.
Skills:
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
· Capable of working in restricted confines
· Skilled in the use of hand tools
