NextGen Teachers are proud to have partnered with a specialist SEN provision who are currently on the hunt for Teaching Assistants to start September 2025. The school are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and inclusive team.
The Role:
As an SENTeaching Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN needs
Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and learning
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement tailored strategies and behaviour plans
Support emotional regulation and social skills development through consistent, nurturing approaches
Help create a safe and inclusive classroom environmentWe're looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children or young people with SEN or behavioural needs (school-based experience is preferred but not essential)
Demonstrates patience, resilience, and emotional intelligence
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils
Can communicate effectively and work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Holds relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
The right to work in the UK
