This isn’t your typical financial reporting role. Here, you’ll take the reins in a high-growth, multisite business that’s expanded rapidly in recent years - with ambitious plans to continue that trajectory. As Head of Financial Reporting, you’ll bridge the gap between the UK finance function and a European parent company, owning all aspects of group reporting and balance sheet integrity while shaping financial processes for the future. It’s a newly created position with real impact, reporting to the COO and sitting visibly within the leadership structure. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for: Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports under UK GAAP and Group IFRS Acting as the primary point of contact for the parent company, handling a high volume of reporting queries and requests Owning group consolidations, ensuring timely, accurate data from multiple UK sites Managing the year-end audit process, liaising closely with external auditors Developing and maintaining robust financial controls, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis Overseeing statutory accounts and compliance requirements Managing budgeting and forecasting cycles, supporting strategic and operational decisions What you will need: Previous experience in a similar role, such as Head of Financial Reporting / Group Reporting Manager / Financial Reporting Manager / Head of Group Reporting / Senior Financial Reporting Manager To be a qualified accountant ( ACA / ACCA / CIMA ) ideally practice trained Solid experience in group or multisite financial reporting Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS To be analytical, detail-focused and comfortable working at pace To be an excellent communicator and stakeholder manager – someone who can hold their own with senior leadership and overseas counterparts What you will get: Flexible hours Hybrid working (1-2 days per week from home after probation) Private health insurance 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Free, onsite parking If you would like to find out more about this role, please apply with your CV or LinkedIn PDF.
