Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
As our next Property and Casualty Underwriter, you’ll be:
* Building and maintaining strong broker relationships, negotiating with confidence, and delivering exceptional service
* Collaborating with your team to deliver timely renewal terms, new business quotes, mid-term adjustments, survey prep, and policy transactions
* Ensuring accurate documentation is issued to clients
* Learning from industry-leading Underwriters and expanding your knowledge across the business
* Bringing energy, initiative, and a growth mindset ready to challenge yourself and support your team
Essential Skills
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
* Proven experience underwriting Property and/or Casualty risks
* A strategic approach to risk evaluation and relationship-building with broker clients
* A passion for personal and professional development
* Proactive teamwork and a can-do attitude
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Keen attention to detail and analytical thinking
Desirable Skills
* A CII qualification (or a strong commitment to achieving one) is essential for success in this technical team.
