About the Role:
We're excited to be exclusively representing a growing Manufacturing firm based in Rugby as they look to bring in a progressive Management Accountant into their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, this is a fantastic opportunity for a progressive ACCA/CIMA studier to continue their career in Management Accounts whilst getting a genuine taste for business partnering in a very visible and commercial role.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and monitor capital expenditure related to major projects and client initiatives.
Provide weekly management reports with analysis on profitability and key financial drivers.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen financial and operational effectiveness.
Collaborate with operational teams to enhance financial insight and support effective performance management.
Complete revenue reconciliations each period, ensuring contract terms are accurately applied.
Prepare annual budgets and ongoing forecasts in partnership with Commercial and Operations departments.
Support the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
Review and approve operational invoices, ensuring correct allocation to cost centres and general ledger codes.
Work closely with Operations Directors and the Regional Financial Controller to contribute to commercial partnership initiatives.
Take ownership of period-end activities by reconciling operational costs to weekly KPIs and completing necessary journals and accruals
About You:
Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
Ideally from a Manufacturing or Automotive background
Strong understanding of management accounting principles
Confident in your ability to business partner, able to influence cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proactive mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
