An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Payroll Manager within the NHS Highland.
This post requires specialist knowledge for procedures and practices relating to all NHS Terms and Conditions of service, local agreements and statutory legislation.
You will be responsible for driving improvements to maximise efficiency and effectiveness and ensuring value for money is achieved, as well as leading on projects. You will also deputise for the Payroll Manager in in local, regional, and national forums or project groups.
You will have a professional Payroll qualification or relevant demonstrable experience and proven leadership skills. You must possess a strong customer service ethic and the ability to deal confidently and professionally with queries from both internal and official external bodies on all aspects of pay.
This is a full-time position and is based in Assynt House, Inverness.
