Front Office Oversight Coordinator (6 Months Fixed Term Contract)
22 Bishopsgate, London – Hybrid

As a future Front Office Oversight Coordinator, you will report to Co-Head 1st Line Control, and you will be part of AXA IM Core.

AXA IM Core 1st Line Oversight & Governance plays a key role in supporting the smooth running and development of AXA IM Core through the following main missions:
* Be a protective 1st level Business Controls Unit/First Line of Defense for Investment & Trading activity globally, maintaining an appropriate and tailored governance and oversight model with Senior Management, Heads of Investment, Heads of Trading Desks and 2nd/3rd line control functions from Compliance, Risk and Audit
* Contribute to the development of AXA IM CORE portfolio management activities and order execution – across multiple asset classes and investment/trading regions internationally.
* In partnership with the different AXA IM support functions, contribute to the various transformation initiatives, helping create a robust operational environment capable of supporting daily activity, business development ambitions and management of regulatory change.
* Contribute to the day to day oversight of Investment & Trading team activity, helping design, maintain and report various control indicators for Heads of areas as the organization's activities and structure evolves.
As part of the AXA IM 1st Line Oversight & Governance team, the Front Office Oversight Coordinator will work closely with team in the UK & France, staying in contact with wider European, Asia and US-based Portfolio Managers & Traders, on the following key activities:
* Supporting juniors on control topics around Investment Management & Trading activity, which oversees adherence to front office portfolio management and execution control processes.
* Coordination with the team on the follow up of Investment Guideline breach activity, in close collaboration with Investment Guidelines / Portfolio Management teams on actions to prevent reoccurrence.
* Support the Head of the team with the management of Operational incidents in accordance with internal policies and standards to ensure remediation and mitigation in coordination with Risk Management and Compliance teams.
* Help drive best practices and support to the team on coordinating processes enhancements and automation.
* Compilation of key management information to identify and escalate control-related business risks for presentation to Heads of Investments and Trading Senior Managers.
* Developing in-depth knowledge of the different investment products, order generation and trade execution methods to be able to understand and follow up on their associated risks.

Your qualifications and experience:
* Experience within the asset management industry with a particular interest in portfolio management and trading.
* Accredited University degree preferably in Finance/Economics or similar
* Excellent English skills required
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to interact with senior Front Office personnel.
* Demonstrated proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel is required. Familiarity with business intelligence software like Tableau would be a plus.
* Capacity to evolve in a diverse, multi-cultural global context.
* Self-motivated with drive & strong record of achievement, high level of attention to details and solution driven
