About us
Together Women is an award-winning charity that supports women and girls across Yorkshire and Humberside, with particular focus on women who are involved in or at risk of entering the criminal justice system. Our vision is for women and girls to feel safe, valued and in control of their own life choices.
From our women centres, we provide tailored support across a range of different pathways, including housing, domestic abuse, debt, and unemployment. As a charity led by women, for women, we provide trauma informed, holistic support to help break cycles of trauma, abuse, and re-offending, and evoke systems change.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Director of Services to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a central role in leading Together Women’s delivery teams across Yorkshire, Humberside and the wider North of England region. This is a senior role with responsibility for ensuring we deliver high-quality, gender-specific, trauma-informed services, which are safe and sustainable, and that meet the needs of the women we support and empower them to achieve positive outcomes.
As Director of Services, you will provide oversight of our portfolio of contracts and services, working closely with commissioners and funders to ensure we meet our obligations and expectations. You will lead a team of managers, providing them with the strategic leadership, guidance, and support they need to effectively motivate and manage their service delivery teams to meet their targets and KPIs, and deliver their work in line with our core values and ethical framework.
A key part of the role will be building and maintaining relationships with commissioners, statutory agencies, charity and community partners. You will identify and develop opportunities to enhance and expand our services, and utilise data and insight to ensure Together Women continues to respond to the needs of women and girls, and remains at the forefront of gender-responsive practice.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will work alongside the CEO, Chief Finance Officer, Director of Development, our Board of Trustees and our wider management team to contribute to the organisation’s strategic direction, and represent Together Women at a regional and national level, and champion our mission and drive for systemic change. This is a role for someone dynamic, collaborative, and committed to creating lasting impact for women and girls through high-quality service delivery and strong partnerships.
