The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Electrician to join a thriving team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting car alarm systems, GPS tracking devices, and other vehicle security equipment. You will work on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all installations meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installing automotive alarm systems, immobilisers, GPS tracking units, and other security-related electronics.
* Diagnosing and resolving faults with vehicle security systems.
* Ensuring all installations are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Testing and calibrating systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Providing customers with clear demonstrations and instructions on using their new systems.
* Keeping accurate records of installations and services carried out.
* Maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
What We Are Looking For:
* Proven experience in car alarm installation or a similar automotive electronics role.
* Strong understanding of vehicle wiring systems and electronic components.
* Familiarity with various car alarm brands and installation techniques.
* Technical qualifications in automotive electronics (desirable but not essential).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
* Full UK driving licence.
