Summary of Role
Support the Asset Protection team with legal research, innovation, knowledge management and training. The role can be full‑time or part‑time.
Key Tasks
* Develop, maintain and enhance the team’s style bank and guidance notes.
* Review current processes and identify opportunities for improvement, focusing on AI and automation.
* Collaborate with IT, innovation and knowledge teams to embed new tools and ways of working.
* Support fee earners with complex legal research and technical queries.
* Monitor legal developments and deliver technical and market knowledge through training sessions, articles and updates.
* Coordinate training budgets, external courses and speaker arrangements with the Divisional Manager.
* Assist with marketing materials, client communications and tender preparation.
* Organise and deliver the Private Client PEAT2 training and support trainee inductions.
* Oversee onboarding processes for new team members.
* Assist with annual submissions to legal directories.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified lawyer with 5+ years relevant PQE, strong technical expertise in tax and succession planning.
* Experience in a Professional Support Lawyer or knowledge‑focused role is preferred.
* Comfortable with new technology, automation and practical process improvement.
* Strong drafting, research and communication skills.
* Ability to write style documents in plain English and maintain the style bank.

* Team player who can also work autonomously and take initiative.
* Personable with strong client‑relationship building ability.
* Confident, self‑belief and willing to provide a high‑quality client experience, even when extra time is required.
