The Role
* Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience
* Planning and delivering engaging, well-sequenced lessons across a range of media
* Supporting pupils with coursework, sketchbooks, and portfolio development
* Preparing students for GCSE and A Level assessments with strong outcomes
* Organising displays, exhibitions, and celebration of pupil work
* Monitoring pupil progress and implementing targeted strategies to raise attainment
* Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a closely related discipline
* Experience teaching Art at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge across practical and theoretical components
* High expectations for pupil engagement and achievement
* A professional, organised, and creative teaching approach
