Your new job, working as a Broker Support Technician / Broking Operations Technician, will be working for innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. With offices based in the UK, USA and worldwide, your new brokers pride themselves on understanding the importance of being client-focused and are growing in all areas. They have recently been named the employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their Operations team, a permanent position as a Senior Technician / Broking Operations Technician within the Marine & Aviation team has arisen within their London City office. This role will sit within the Marine & Aviation team and will incorporate the production of MRC production and endorsements as well as PPL.
Your new role
Your new role working as an Operations Technician / Broker Support Technician will be to provide timely and accurate “right first time” Broking Ops service to Brokers, Underwriters and Clients. You will be responsible for providing efficient production ofpliant and accurate contract documentation (such as MRC Slips, Endorsements, Certificates, Wordings Underwriter submissions and endorsements as applicable). Uploading of Risks to PPL. Working closely with brokers to review renewals and support the renewals process. Other duties will include working with the Manager of Broking Ops to monitor workload demand as well as work across other Divisions as required when demand fluctuates to ensure an optimised service for all clients. Your division support the team in handling International Marine & Aviation
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician / Broker Support Technician with experience handling the Marine & Aviation business or Professions business will contribute to your success in securing this role. Knowledge of MRC slip production and endorsements are essential.
You will have great attention to detail and be able to use your own initiative. You will have excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal.
