Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a confident and self-motivated individual to work at our Solihull premises on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in customer service and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, dealing with pressure efficiently and providing a high level of customer service at all times. Responsibilities include handling customer queries regarding our range of products and recent or new orders.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Handling general inquiries via email and phone
2. Resolving queries on existing orders
3. Chasing dispatches when required
4. Being the first point of contact for telephone customers
5. Understanding and meeting timescales and cut-off times for Plastics Hub customers regarding orders and processing
This role is highly customer-oriented. It is vital that orders are checked and fulfilled correctly, with clear communication of progress to customers. Maintaining professionalism through email and telephone interactions is essential. Building and maintaining relationships with both new and returning customers is key, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
An ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, good computer skills, and a proactive 'can-do' attitude.
