As the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the successful implementation, delivery, and reporting of Connect to Work throughout West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.
Working on and leading the delivery of the Connect to Work programme promises to offer a unique experience each day, filled with unexpected challenges and rewards! There are several key responsibilities that will be integral to this role, including:
1. Responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the Supported Employment programme within the West Sussex, Brighton & Hove Connect to Work Delivery Area, including its launch, implementation, delivery, compliance, and reporting.
2. Overseeing the strategic direction, reporting, compliance and financial requirements of the programme, with a budget of up to £5.32 million per year.
3. Ensuring the programme is operationally effective, delivering the highest possible quality standards of Supported Employment, working to recognised Fidelity models, and therefore maximising positive outcomes for participants: residents who are facing complex barriers to work.
4. Leading a multi-disciplinary team with the active and engaged support of management teams.
5. Delivering service reviews, mapping delivery against government requirements and making recommendations for effective and efficient ways of working.
6. Overseeing the communications strategy for the programme, ensuring that messaging is suitable for all audiences and employs a multi-channel approach.
7. Leading the commissioning, contracting and/or grant agreement arrangements for the programme, including the onboarding and oversight of delivery partners.

8. Demonstrable experience at senior management level including managing large and/or complex programmes, managing significant budgets, allocating resources, budgeting and procurement.
9. Experience of building and developing effective, strategic partnerships in a complex landscape.
10. Proven leadership skills and a desire to use these in influencing colleagues, partners and decision-makers, as part of our mission to secure high quality delivery.
11. Experience of leading a team, including direct line management.
12. Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, with a strong ability to align operational practices with strategic objectives.
13. Skills to conduct research, analyse information and data, make effective and well-founded judgements and recommendations, and develop sound policies and processes that are both viable and practical, meeting the needs of the programme and funders.
