We have an excellent opportunity for a Female Support Worker Driver to join our incredible Supported living Team in Lincoln.
Role: Female Support Worker - Driver
Pay Rate: £12.40 Per Hour
Shifts: Days or Nights
Contract: Full time
Person Specifications:
* Experience supporting individuals who self-harm
* Experience with EUPD (Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder)
* Experience working with mild learning disability
* Experience with emotionally unstable personality disorder
* Full Drivers' Licence essential
* Must have experience with Mental Health Conditions, Complex Care and Challenging Behaviours
* The ability to multi-task.
* Good time management, organization, attention to detail and flexibility.
* IT literate.
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
* Good Communication Skills.
* You must have a compassionate, caring, positive personality.
* Possess a genuine passion for making a real difference in people’s lives.
* Able to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
* Works well as part of a team as well as individually.
Duties Include
* To support people with disabilities, including individuals with profound and complex needs, using person-centred approaches to enable people to achieve positive outcomes as defined in their support plan.
* Basic daily duties include medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and paperwork.
* To Provide emotional and practical support.
* To support the people in our care to access community facilities and be included in community groups.
* To build a robust relationship with the people in our care to promote independence and improve quality of life.
* To Empower the people in our care to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests.
