Are you looking for a rewarding part-time job where you can make a difference in the lives of others? Our #TeamStrathclyde is seeking a female* Support Practitioner to join on a part-time basis (24 hours per week).
The Role
You will be part of a dedicated team supporting individuals to live as independently as possible in their own homes. As a Support Practitioner, you’ll assist with daily activities such as cooking, housework, shopping, and medication. Your support will help them achieve their goals and participate actively in their community and volunteering opportunities.
About You
At Cornerstone, we prioritize your personal qualities over experience and qualifications. We will provide training and practical skills to help you develop your career in the Health & Social Care sector. We also offer to fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees.
We ask that you bring:
* A caring attitude and approach
* Good communication skills
* A positive attitude towards learning
* An understanding of routines and guidelines
* Confidence in using computers
Having a full UK manual driving licence is beneficial but not essential.
Shift Patterns
Shift patterns will include a mix of weekdays and weekends, varying from 9am to 7:30pm on a rolling rota, tailored to individual needs.

Successful candidates will need to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare, supported by our Training Academy.
Note: If you have spent more than 12 months outside the UK (excluding certain countries) within the last 10 years after turning 18, you will need to provide a criminal record certificate as part of pre-employment checks.
