Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor/Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive experience in food and beverage service. Duties
* Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth functioning during shifts
* Lead and motivate a team of bartenders and service staff to deliver excellent customer service
* Oversee and maintain booking procedures
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all aspects of the bar's operations
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
* Train new staff members on service procedures, food safety, and operational standards
* Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that promotes teamwork and hospitality
Skills
* Proven supervising or team management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff effectively
* Experience in serving drinks and managing bar operations efficiently
* Familiarity with culinary processes, food production, and kitchen experience beneficial
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
* Good communication skills to liaise with staff and customers professionally
* Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including hotel experience or barista experience advantageous
* Ability to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene at all times
