The family have two young children: a two-year-old boy and a five-month-old baby. The mother is currently fully engaged in caring for the youngest child; therefore, the primary focus of this role will be the care, development, and daily routine of the toddler. The family are seeking someone who is firm but fair, organised, and genuinely invested in supporting early years development through active and engaging care. The two-year-old attends nursery several times per week. Responsibilities will therefore include nursery drop-offs and collections, as well as planning stimulating activities on non-nursery days. The family value an active lifestyle, and the nanny should be confident organising outdoor play, park visits, creative activities, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate developmental play. Screen time is minimal; therefore, the successful candidate must be capable of engaging the child through meaningful interaction and structured activities. In addition to childcare, the role includes child-related housekeeping duties. These involve maintaining the children’s bedrooms and play areas, managing children’s laundry, preparing fresh and healthy snacks and simple meals, and ensuring an orderly and well-managed environment. This is a full-time, live-out position offered on a 6-month rolling contract, with the possibility of extension or transition to a long-term arrangement Only candidates who have the eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for this role.
