Were looking for a confident and resilient Credit Controller to join a growing property business with a large and varied portfolio of retail, industrial, and commercial tenants. This is a fast-paced, tenant-facing role where mentality and communication style are just as important as technical ability.
Working closely with the Credit Control Manager, youll manage relationships across a diverse tenant base, balancing a professional and commercial approach depending on the client. Some conversations will be challenging, so this role would suit someone who is proactive, thick-skinned, and confident picking up the phone to chase outstanding payments.
Youll also play a key role in daily reconciliations and ledger management, requiring strong attention to detail and solid Excel skills.
In this role, you will:
Manage and monitor outstanding tenant accounts to ensure timely payments
Build relationships with a wide range of clients across retail and industrial sectors
Handle difficult payment conversations confidently and professionally
