A large public sector organisation undergoing a multi‑year transformation programme is seeking a Portfolio Management Analyst to support the effective delivery of change. Your new role
As Portfolio Management Analyst, you will play a central role in shaping and maintaining the organisation’s programme and project landscape. You will turnplex delivery data into clear insights, enabling senior leadership to monitor progress, manage risks and make informed decisions.
You will support agile, waterfall and hybrid programmes through the creation of accurate portfolio reports, dashboards, roadmaps andernance documentation. You will ensure plans are integrated, risks and dependencies are visible, resources are tracked effectively, and benefits are clearly defined and measured. In addition, you will contribute to continuous improvement across programme and portfolio management processes, helping to embed consistent standards and strengthen assurance.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Degree‑level education or equivalent experience, plus foundation‑level project or programme management training (, APM PFQ/PMQ).
2. Proven experience in PMO, programme or transformation environments, ideally within aplex organisation.
3. Strong knowledge of PMO controls including integrated planning, RAID management,ernance and benefits tracking.
4. Ability to produce high‑quality dashboards, reports and visuals using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Miro, Visio or Canva.
5. Excellentmunication skills, with the ability to present clear, concise information to senior stakeholders and facilitate collaborative sessions.
6. A highly analytical, organised and solutions‑focused approach with amitment to improving processes and portfolio oues.
What you'll get in return
