Our client in North Preston are a packaging and distribution company mainly within Fast Moving Commercial Goods Market! FMCG) are looking to bring the Accounting function inhouse. The client is looking for a Part Time Qualified Financial Controller/Management Accountant to take control of all Financials within the business.
This role is working closely with the Managing Director of this rapidly expanding SME business.
Location: Preston
Hours of work: 16 - 25 per week negotiable however flexability is required
Job Type: Part Time
Key Responsibilities
* Working closely with the Managing Director and Management Teams
* Sales and overhead forecasting
* Day to day running the company finances - day to day accounts
* Payment processing
* Credit management, invoicing, cash collection
* Balancing, management of banking
* Preparation and presentation of monthly/annual accounts
* VAT Returns and advising on Taxable savings (HMRC)
* Project work across the business
* Payroll
What they are looking for
1. ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified (or equivalent).
2. SME Experience is essential
