Our Repairs team, delivers repairs, maintenance and investment services for customers in Wheatley Homes South properties, as well as for people living in Wheatleys other subsidiaries in the south of Scotland. About the role Were looking for a Qualified Multi-Skilled Operative (Plumber) to join our team at Wheatley Homes South. The role involves carrying out repairs in our customers homes, providing our on-call service, and preparing void properties to re-let, including external pipework repairs and drainage work. Identifying mould and damp issues within our houses, carrying out mould washes and repairs required to eradicate the mould. Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a positive attitude, a willingness to embrace a vibrant and fast-paced working environment, whilst showing accountability for their workload from beginning to end. You should also be a great team player with strong problem-solving skills. You must have a relevant trade qualification for plumbing and can multi-skill in other trades. Experience of working in social housing is desirable but not essential. A clean driving license is essential, and the posts are subject to a level 1 disclosure check.
