As a Patient DiningAssistant at Sodexo in Hereford County Hospital, you’ll play an important partin preparing and serving nutritious, comforting meals that support patientrecovery and wellbeing. What you’ll do: Serve and distribute meals and beverages to patients, customers, and staff Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes and cleaning equipment Safely operate industrial catering equipment in line with procedures Handle food preparation tasks such as labelling, stock rotation, and temperature recording Complete required training and support additional duties as directed by management What you bring: Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions accurately Strong commitment to safe working practices at all times Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Good personal hygiene standards Basic literacy skills, with good numeracy an advantage Ability to use initiative and manage tasks effectively Experience in a food environment, basic IT skills, and cash handling experience desirable The ability to stay on your feet and work efficiently during busy service periods What we offer: Working at Sodexo isn’t just a job — it’s a chance tomake a difference every day.
