About the company
Our client is a global FMCG manufacturer in the Lancaster area who is looking to add an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to their Engineering team. This is an exciting role for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly successful & reputable business across their recently modernised fast-paced production facility.
The role is a Monday to Friday days position working 9am - 5pm shift, although a variation of this could be suitable (8-4, 7-3 etc).

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Requirements
* Experience with maintenance in a large-scale heavy industrial / FMCG manufacturing environment
* Relevant qualification, NVQ, Diploma, Degree in Electrical Engineering
* 18th Edition qualification
* Experience with PLC's
Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled and planned maintenance repairs of equipment, as well as emergency/unscheduled repairs of mill equipment during unplanned shutdowns
* Capable of repairing electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic devices
* Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment throughout the mill
* Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to electrical failure, report conditions, and recommend steps to be taken
* Perform preventative maintenance such as changing contacts and checking motors.
* Siemens PLC knowledge with fault finding and diagnostics. S5/S7
* Install cables, conduit, for new equipment or replacing old one
* Strong communication skills, and a team-player attitude
