Overview
A vacancy has arisen for a Health Care Assistant/Phlebotomist within Forth Valley Community Nursing Services as part of the Community Treatment and Care service (CTAC). This post will work closely with the General Practice and Community Nursing Teams. Changes within Primary Care have led to the opportunity for Health Care Assistants to work within the expanding care and treatment service.
Responsibilities
* Carry out delegated work on a daily basis, including phlebotomy and Blood Pressure monitoring.
Qualifications and Skills
* Essential: good communication skills, flexible and adaptable, able to work well within a team while using your own initiative.
* Will be based within a team setting and may require travel throughout the service delivery area.
* Good IT skills are desirable; training will be provided. NHS Forth Valley supports lifelong learning and development. Keen to learn and develop new skills.
Other Requirements
* Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is required.
* Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential.
