Role: Community Care Worker (Learning Disability Service)Salary: Grade F £30,024 - £32,597 a year Location: The Council House, Derby City Council, Corporation Street, Derby Hours: 37 hours Closing Date: 27 April 2026 Contract Type: Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Adult Social Care department as a Community Care Worker in the Learning Disability Services. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with the relevant experience in Learning Disabilities and Neurodivergence to join our dedicated Learning disability Service. You will undertake Assessments, Reviews and arrange the delivery of social care services, under the Care Act 2014, to the people of Derby, including those who are transitioning from Children’s to Adult services. These individuals may have Learning Disabilities, Physical Health Concerns, Education Health Care Plans and/or Mental ill-health. We aim to support those individuals to develop their skills and abilities to live a life of their choosing and fulfil their potential. You will be liaising with key stakeholders, families and commissioning colleagues to build the right support around individuals with complex needs.
