Overview
You’ll ensure design-for-test principles are applied throughout development and define all factory, in-service, and Built-In Test (BIT) routines. Working closely with design and manufacturing teams, you’ll help deliver a fully testable product with minimal gaps in coverage.
Responsibilities
* Lead test and testability aspects of systems.
* Define and manage test requirements, including access, BIT coverage/timings, and factory functionality.
* Analyse and model systems to assess coverage and create diagnostics.
* Collaborate with engineering leads to balance cost against coverage.
Skills & Experience
* Strong background in test, electrical, or electronic engineering.
* Expertise in one or more of: digital electronics, microprocessor systems, analogue electronics, electronics testing, or test equipment design.
* Ability to gather requirements, oversee projects, plan effectively, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Working Arrangements
* Hybrid model: typically 2–3 days per week on-site.
* UK citizenship (or dual including UK) required for security clearance.
* All candidates must complete HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks.
