Quantum Scholars are working closely with a highly regarded secondary school in Luton that is currently seeking an experienced Design and Technology Teacher to join their dynamic school in September 2025. This will be a full-time, permanent position. \n\nThe school hiring are based in Luton which is a large town located in Bedfordshire.
They are a mixed comprehensive secondary school. They are rated as a "Good" school by Ofsted. They're a school with a vibrancy and passion for everyone to succeed.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDeliver high-quality and engaging Design and Technology lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.\n\nDevelop and implement creative and innovative teaching methods to engage students in the subject.\n\nSupport the delivery of the curriculum and ensure that lessons are aligned with the school's educational goals and standards.\n\nMonitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.\n\nContribute to the development of the school's extra-curricular activities related to Design and Technology.\n\nWork collaboratively with other teaching staff and participate in school-wide initiatives.\n\nRequirements:\n\nProven experience as a Design Technology teacher, ideally in a secondary school setting.\n\nA strong understanding of the Design and Technology curriculum, with the ability to teach across a variety of topics and projects.\n\nPassion for the subject and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.\n\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.\n\nMust be available for a September 2025!\n\nIf you are a dedicated Design Technology teacher looking for your next challenge and are available from September 2025, we would love to hear from you.\n\nHow to Apply: Please apply directly through this advert and one of our consultants will be in touch
