Client Details Our client is a well known business in Nottingham and are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. This is a office based role in Nottingham. Description Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate data entry into the ledger system. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare payment runs and ensure adherence to company policies. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth month-end processes. Maintain accurate records and support audit requirements. Respond to supplier queries and build positive working relationships. Assist with ad-hoc tasks within the accounting & finance department as needed.Profile A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have: Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
