The Role: We are looking for a dedicated Humanities Therapeutic SEN KS2 Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will lead the delivery of the humanities curriculum for students in Years 7 and 8, with the opportunity to guide them through Entry level qualifications or a GCSE pathway based on their attainment. You will have a small tutor group and be responsible for implementing a whole school scheme of work. Key Responsibilities: Inspire, motivate, and challenge students through high-quality learning experiences. Lead on humanities curriculum design and qualifications, ensuring it is inclusive and well-sequenced. Organize enriching activities such as community visits, school outings, and sporting events. Work collaboratively with staff and multi-agency teams to promote high expectations for attendance and behaviour. Support personal development sessions and work closely with the therapeutic team to provide bespoke support. Engage parents/carers in their children's progress and achievement.
